Congratulations to our German Students!

Wetzel Languages is proud to congratulate our five students for passing the Goethe B1 Exam (Intermediate level). It is a tribute to their hard work and dedication that they made such progress in language learning while also balancing life and work.

We would also like to thank and congratulate Fabrizio Cicconi for preparing the students so well for the test. He and all of the teachers in the türöffner program have supported fourteen students in taking and passing the Goethe exam since 2022.

The Goethe exam is administered by the Goethe Institute, a non-profit in Munich which promotes the study of German as well as cultural exchange. The exam evaluates German skills at various levels. In 2021 Wetzel Languages launched our German language program, türöffner, at the BMW plant in Spartanburg, SC. In 2022 we started offering the Goethe exam, in partnership with the German School of the Upstate. We are currently at a 100% pass rate. Kudos to these great students and teachers!
